a dancer's shop!
All staff
are experienced dancers and performers who are able to help and advise
on your performance and dancewear needs.
The staff
have experience of a number of different styles of dance, and have
between them trained as dance teachers, competed at national standard
and also performed professionally in Britain and Europe.
All staff share great enthusiasm for dance and performance, and are
always encouraged to try new styles - this helps them remember just how
uncomfortable it felt to be a complete beginner, so they are able to
help those who are learning for the first time.
Ever since Jayne set up in
early 2005, there has been tremendous response and support from local
dancers, and Jayne has tried to help the local dance community by
organising a successful weekend of dance classes (the Petersfield
"Try2dance") which included beginners classes in 13 different
styles of dance, all taught by local dance teachers. For those
reading this who are local to Petersfield, the "Try2dance2"
Weekend is currently being arranged and further details will be posted
on here when available.
